Be Well Summer Wellness Campaign

A Summer long celebration of mind, body and spirit. Featuring free yoga and wellness events throughout the state. VYW and Be Well Virginia are organized by River’s Edge Yoga, Yogis for Positive Change, the Virginia Yoga and Wellness community, Old Town North Community Partnership, Embassy of India, community volunteers and local businesses. Sweat . Pray . Eat

An opportunity to reconnect with the intentions of the year and to let go of the things that are no longer serving you well. It’s a chance to get grounded for a few hours, meditate with mala beads, chant, journal, and enjoy some delicious food with fellow yogis. Sweat . Pray . Eat is a reset with the change of the seasons and opportunity to use the time on our mats to check in with our lives and assess what our next step is. Sweat: Practice consisting of 108 Sun Salutations. Pray: Reflection through meditation, chanting and journaling. Eat: Enjoy food and the company of others.
